Scholarship Information

The Springfield ASWA chapter is proud to offer scholarships to students majoring in accounting at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college, university, or professional school of accountancy.

Criteria for Selection

The scholarship(s) will be awarded to applicants majoring in accounting at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college, university, or professional school of accountancy. The applicants should have completed the equivalent of at least Intermediate Financial Accounting I at the time of application. Scholarships may also be awarded to accountants pursuing advanced degrees.

Number, Amount, and Type of Award

The funds available and the quality of the applicants shall determine the amount and number of scholarships.

The completed application should contain the following information:

• Application form
• An official transcript

The Deadline for this application is March 1st, 2010.
